Scout is Dequan’s free tier and the default landing place for every new user. It exists because we believe the best advertisement for a trading tool is letting traders use it.

What’s included

Everything. Read Tiers Overview for the full list — but the short version:

Full Pump Zone

Spatial feed, all velocity bands, all formations, milestone flags, leaderboard, action tray. The entire centerpiece, no parts missing.

Full chart suite

TradingView Advanced Charts + Cinematic 1-second engine. Multi-timeframe, popout charts, all overlays, all signals.

Full execution pipeline

Pre-execution warmup, adaptive fees, adaptive slippage, parallel landing. The same speed the upgraded tiers get.

Full safety stack

Honeypot Guard, liquidity drain detection, holder/dev surveillance, fee transparency. All on, all the time.

Lightning Wallet (capped)

The custodial fast-trading wallet with a Scout-tier balance cap appropriate for retail-scale sniping.

The HOT/WARM/COOL classification across every token, every chart, every list view.

Sniper List

The dense ranked-list view as an alternative to the Pump Zone.

Burn Barrel

The dust-sweeping toolbox utility.

Referral program participation

Earn from your referrals at the standard tier rate.

Same support

Same docs, same support channel, same response.

What Scout’s limits look like

Scout has limits — that’s what makes it Scout — but the limits are calibrated for genuine retail trading, not artificially crippled to push upgrades.
  • Daily trade volume cap. A maximum cumulative SOL volume per 24-hour window. Generous enough that the average active retail trader will never hit it.
  • Per-session rate limits. Standard rate-limit boundaries to keep the platform stable for everyone.
  • Lightning Wallet balance cap. Bounded balance suitable for retail sniping. Excess can be withdrawn back to your main wallet at any time.
  • Standard fee tier. The base platform fee rate.
  • No Fast Mode. Fast Mode (session-key delegation) is Sniper/Apex only because of the higher operational guardrails it requires. Lightning Wallet covers the same one-tap-trading need on Scout.
If you hit the daily volume cap regularly, that is a strong signal that you’d benefit from an invite to Sniper. We’d rather you find that out by hitting the limit than by reading marketing copy about it.

Why is the free tier this generous?

The honest answer:
  1. The marginal cost of a Scout user is tiny. Most of the platform’s cost is fixed — data feeds, infrastructure, engineering. Adding another Scout user adds a small per-call cost that the platform absorbs comfortably.
  2. Scout users become Sniper users. Not all of them, but the ones who grow into serious volume become the platform’s high-value users. Crippling Scout would lose those traders to a competitor before they grew.
  3. Word of mouth is the best growth. Free Scout users telling friends “this is actually fast” is worth more than any paid acquisition campaign.
  4. It’s the right thing to do. Charging for safety features feels gross. Charging for the feature set when the marginal cost of that feature set is near zero feels gross. We’d rather feel good about the product.

The practical bottom line

You can sign up right now, connect a wallet, fund Lightning if you want, and have access to a tool that — measured by feature surface — costs other platforms 5050–200/month behind paywalls. The catch is: there isn’t one. Scout is the real product, and so are you.
